3. Evangelization: From Jesus we learn he sent out his disciples two by two. It was my goal to
prepare a member to invest another evening during the week in order to teach the Word of God to
others. God gave me Marco who went with me on different occasions. Among others, he
introduced me to his sister Angelica. We taught her and baptized her. After her conversion she got
married with a faithful member from another congregation in Switzerland.
4. Worship: An additional goal was to invite people for our regular worship services and to
improve our services. Our new members did not know any of the songs in our songbooks. I spent
hours learning and teaching songs. The quality of our services has improved a lot. In the beginning
I led the whole service, and it was my goal to find other men to serve with me. I thank God I can
share my responsibilities with two other men (Marco and Marcello).
5. Support: Another goal we had was to become 20%
self-supporting within the first ten years. God has blessed us even more. Since
January 2006, we are almost 40% self-supportive.

It was our goal to support our facilities, office supplies and ads in the newspaper on our own.
In 2006, I informed the members about our financial situation and they agreed to take the full
responsibility for that. They even agreed to start paying a small amount of the preacher’s salary.
We have never needed money for medicine, Bibles, an expensive building, etc. All the support
we receive now is mainly to pay the preacher’s salary. In Switzerland we can be fully self-supporting
with less than 50 members.
6. Serving other congregations: My goal was not only to establish a congregation in St.
Gallen, but also to serve the churches of Christ in the German part of Europe. In the past ten years I
held over 30 gospel meetings and seminars in Germany and Switzerland. I wrote several articles for
magazines and tracts for the churches. Additionally, I revised five Bible correspondence courses
which are a great tool for the churches. Also, I created a pamphlet for the churches in which I am
offering such things as study materials, gospel meetings, seminars, etc.
7. Bible course materials: From 1991-1994, my wife and I were students at International Bible
College (now Heritage Christian University) in Florence, Alabama. While we were students at IBC,
we did not get a full Bible education. We learned mainly the big picture of history and some Bible
books. We also learned to serve, to read and to research, and how to make outlines, etc.
Therefore, it was my goal to study the Bible more in depth in order to be able to serve the church
in preaching and teaching. I prepared in German over 20 Bible courses about different subjects
(Baptism, Holy Spirit, Kingdom of God, Leadership, Prayer, etc.). I wrote commentary for ten books
of the Old and New Testament, and they are ready to use anytime. Several brethren ordered my
free CD with all the courses and helpful Bible study materials. The most important Bible courses are
finished and I am ready to teach and preach for almost any occasion.
Additionally, I had in mind to open a website (www.bibelinfo.net) with helpful Bible information
for everyone, and finally in 2006, the most important part was set up by a brother in Zurich. I am
able now to make my own changes on my website. Every week, I load my sermon from Sunday
morning. As time develops, I want to create little clips and PowerPoint presentations etc. I have
received several responses from church members and other website visitors.
All these goals were reached only through the grace of God and because of your faithful
financial support which makes this wonderful church work possible! Thank you very much for giving
me this great opportunity to serve and the privilege to preach and teach the Word of God to the
people of Switzerland!
May God richly bless you all! In Christian love,
René and Brigitte Voser
